Kinetic Energy (School's Concert)
Who said classical music wasn't an extreme sport? Kinetic energy is the energy of motion and there's plenty of musical motion in this fast-paced program. This concert explores a full range of movement and meter throughout time; from a heartbeat to a horse and cart, right through to high-speed typewriters and trains! Includes music by Bach, Mozart, Prokofiev and Stravinsky. Each performance is tailored either to primary or secondary school students depending on performance time. Duration: 60 minutes
