JUTE Theatre and Crossroad Arts in Association with the Mackay Entertainment Centre, Darwin Theatre Company and Tropic Sun Theatre present Gods of Spicy Things A Divine Comedy By Sue Hayes A JUTE Theatre and Crossroad Arts Co-Production (a Theatre to the Edge presentation)
| Two Hindu gods, two mortals, and a Lonely Planet Guide. A delightful Bollywood travelogue where the gods take two unsuspecting westerners and use them as pawns in their godly clash of will. Leela, a magazine writer, and Chris, a slick London advertising guru, are travellers on an unexpected journey through India. The unwitting pair are thrown together and only the gods Krishna and Durgha know what is in store for these mere mortals. A visually sumptuous and colourful production starring Sue Hayes and Christopher Glover. |
