From the realms of ABC Radio National’s Science Show, popular character Hermes comes to life in a madcap science adventure of unearthly delights. Hermes Goes Environ-Mental follows the story of three children with their ‘heads in the clouds’ as they learn about Earth’s water cycle.

In a time when water conservation is such a hot topic in Queensland, this production also offers practical ideas in what students can do to help conserve ‘the precious drop’. These are big science ideas in a slapstick comedy package – certainly not your average science lesson!

The characters of Hermes, Wingnut and Iris were initially developed as part of a radio series for A BC Radio National’s Science Show. Written and directed by Brendon Kennedy.
