NARPACA Presents

Mikelangelo and The Black Sea Gentlemen

"Impossible to fault on ANY level, this is a must see show.  NOT TO BE MISSED!"
Radio Fourth

Internationally acclaimed and immaculately dressed, Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen bring their visceral and intoxicating Kabaret Noir to Queensland. The group has played to packed houses and recieved awards and accolades from the Sydney Opera House to Budapest and back.

Their 2006 Edinburgh Fringe season at the famous Spiegeltent was widely heralded by audiences and critics as one of the most outstanding shows of this year's Festival - no mean feat at the world's largest arts festival.

In concert Mikelangelo commands the stage with his thunderous baritone.  He is part ringmaster, part crooner, part beat-possessed.  The Black Sea Gentlemen are his formidable musical ensumble with Rufino the Catalan Casanova on violin, The Great Muldavio on clarinet, Guido Libido on piano accordion and Little Ivan on double bass.  Together they waltz, tango and polka their way through a show bristling with humour, pathos and beauty.
