Spectacular Experiments The Magical World of Crazy Science  With non-stop fizzing, colourful experiments plus puppetry, comedy, mime and magic, this production is a special brew for every year level. Take a beaker full of crazy science, add a test tube of comedy, then a drop of magic, and you’ll have The Magical World of Crazy Science! In a multi-coloured spectacle of giant smoke rings, glowing test tubes, mountains of slime and enormous bubbles, this production offers a fascinating and vibrant peek inside the mad scientist’s lab. Performer Richard Scholes has an equally impressive cocktail of experience as an artist and scientist, allowing him to produce this unique fusion of theatre and chemistry. Not many artists with national awards, including the Australian Stage Magician of the Year, can also boast 10 years of scientific research at the University of Queensland. Richard teaches students about catalysts, reactants, chemical change and science safety. After seeing the show, students always want to try the experiments themselves – use the ready-to-use, step-by-step teachers' resources to have students hands-on and creating their own Magical World of Crazy Science.
