Comedy Zoo-illogical Love the Zoo? Spare a thought for its inhabitants!

Short, sharp and shiny, and subtle as a sledgehammer. Adelaide Advertiser
Welcome to the Zoo! Jump on the tour bus and see this madcap parody in a whopping big cage of comedy. Watch the tipsy koala nod off, squawk with the cheeky cockatoo, scare the frilled neck lizard, dance with the emu, but save your bag of roo food for Brian, the big red kangaroo.
Never mind the animals, it’s the humans you’ll really need to watch: Frank, the bus driver (and Work Place Health and Safety Officer!) and totally wild Ranger Terri Tompkins will be escorting students through the funny-farm antics of Zoo-illogical Gardens.
Performed in festivals across Australia, including the Adelaide Festival Fringe, this production illustrates goofy characterization, physical comedy and plenty of Australian animals. Younger students will love the oddball characterization and physical comedy, while older students are introduced to parody, satire and social comment.
So, if you think your students are a bunch of cheeky monkeys, then you’ll love Zoo-illogical.
